UV video technique

  1. Hi, I'm trying to justify if I should try out UV video. The problem is I couldn't find any good video to show case its "artistry". Almost all videos I found is boring coral shoot, This is the best I can find to show case its capability:

Does anyone have a good sample of UV video?

  2. Thanks Drew! That gave me some idea about what skill is needed. After seeing those clips, I would have to say I'm no way ready for UV stuffs yet. For started, I don't even know how to do timelapse underwater (still working on tripod stuffs). The artistry is really very subjective, I enjoy more inspiration/wow factor stuffs, with UV, it's really more like a creepy/mystery vipe, combine with a suitable music, it's not something you want to watch when you're having a migraine headache :lol2:

  3. See uv dive video samples at the end of this movie:

And if you want to see full resolution uv photos, click on the photos at

Uv video and photo are really nice. It does need a strong uv light like sola nightsea.

Paradoxically, i use a uv filter iver the fluo to get nicer fluo pictures. :-)

  4. And i have shot 3 d fluo recently. 3d fluo just pop out of the scree, making you feel like you are actually diving fluo in real time, in real 3d!

    I will post it later.
