Last December and into January I spent three weeks in Fiji. This was a little different trip than staying at a group dive resort. We stayed at a non-diving resort on an island just off the coast of Taveuni. They only had four bures. Very private. No crowds. All diving was arranged through Taveuni Divers, who had to make a special trip to our island every day to pick me and my wife up. The original "custom" booking was for three private boat dives a day and a simple shore dive from our resort (less than spectacular, but doable as a photographer). The manager of the resort who also worked with Taveuni Divers quit just before we left on our trip and everything fell apart at that point. So I did have to rattle a few cages to get "some" of what I originally booked. In any event the resort management from Rainbow Reef Resorts and Muriel at Taveuni Divers did a fantastic job of making some of my trip align with the original plan.
Here are a few topside shots and underwater images I like. These four were shot with a Zen mini dome, Tokina 10-14. I love that set up.

Here are a few more underwater shots of fish. The orange clown fish was with the Zen mini dome and 1.4 TC, so very close focus, but a bit wider than a 60, giving a more dramatic look to the image.

Thanks Steve & SwiftFF5. The viz was not too great this time of year. Getting close to your subject helps along with time of day and depth. If I would have gone too deep it would be just muted blue at the surface. One of the reasons for a private guide was to use him as a scout and control my shooting depth. I would explain to him what I wanted and he would clank his tank when he found what he thought was a good composition. We would stay fairly shallow 60% of the time. The wall shot, though, was taken at over 100 feet deep. That is called the Great White Wall, which looks white at that depth until you ping it with some light.
