  1. Ikelite DS 125 with the OLY TTL Konverter of M. Heinrichs

    Hi guys,

today I have testet a Ikelite DS 125 with the OLY TTL Konverter of Mattias Heinrichs and the Olympus C4000 in PT10.

I have tested both ways the IR connection and the direkt wire connection.

I have done about 100 pics non of them is not good ! in any modes

of the cam best in P -Mode and also in Super makro with 5 cm distance

but we have to optimice the konverter programm for the brightnes of the DS125 by setting light contol to +1 all is OK but on A- Mode the stobe only fires twice obove a aperture of 4 I do not know wy but it is no problem we´ll fix it later.

So it even works with the C5050 the C5060 and the C8080 :perfekt expose in any mode no problems with flash settings .....no maual setings to the cam just press the release button... ready

  2. Interesting!

I can see Mattias's TTL converter is very useful for people wanting to combine relatively cheaper strobes with digital cameras. What you already had a DS125 with an Ikelite slave sensor? How does the TTL converter compare against the Ikelite controller?
