  2. Those were worth the wait Herb........I'd be interested in the EXIF info.......what were your first impressions shooting a DSLR vs. 5050?

Looks like you got the sun to behave on the turtle shot!....my favorite of the bunch...

How did you attach the filters to your lens and strobe?

  3. Herb,

Outstanding as always. Hard pressed to pick a favorite, but I'm impressed with how you handled the sun in the turtle shot.

Can't wait to see the rest...

  4. MUST GET CAMERA WET VERY SOON!!

Herb those shots are great and make me really want to get that camera underwater soon.

EXIF is something I would be interested in seeing also.

  5. Thanks for the comments. I'll post the EXIF tonight.

The lens filter goes in the back of the lens. There's a slot there for it. I ended up making my own filter holder for the stobes beacuse I didn't have time to wait for the right size filter for the holder sold by Marine camera. I'll post the details when I have time to write a short report on camera stuff.

The DSLR took a little getting use to. I'm glad I did it on a long warm water trip.

  6. I added the EXIF below the posted pics

    Excellent work Herb!

You've produced some great shots with the C5050/PT015 and now with the 300D. Can you share with us any +ves (or even -ves) that you experienced when switching from a prosumer to DSLR?
