canon eos 10d?

anyone use this camera? how does it preform? is it worth the money? any info on this would help

I enjoy my 10D very much. It is a great camera for both underwater and land photography. I have enlarged and printed several pictures. I have been extremely pleased with the results and have some of them displayed in my home.

There are a number of reviews about this camera online. One of the better ones is here:

The camera is rumored to be replaced by a newer model soon (isn't everything digital) so if you are not in a hurry you may want to see what's coming out next. My guess is that something will be announced this fall and will be on the streets a few months later, however that means a housing is likely to not be available for quite some time after that. All of this adds up to a long time before you will be taking pictures...especially underwater. Only you can decide if it's worth waiting.

yeah i also heard some rumers of canon comming out with some new and better stuff. but that is a really long time to wait for my camera. oh well ill keep doing research and see what comes up. i will be mostly taking pictures of my teamates wrestling matches ang having a fast shutter will help keep the blur down. im not to sure how fast 1/4000 sec is but if someone was in full sprint would it still be blurry if i took a pic of it? thanks again for the info
