Best of PNG on FeBrina Liveaboard!

  1. We've just returned from a PNG trip to Father's Reef, the Witu Islands and Kimbe Bay on FeBrina Liveaboard! It was a fantastic trip with spectacular corals, plenty of sharks and pelagic fish plus lots of cool critters! Our full trip report + images can be viewed here - enjoy!

  2. Very nice.

As a frequent flyer on the FeBrina I will agree that this boat is the BEST!!

Question, which wide angle lens were you using for the pelagic shots?

  3. Hi Alison,

I'm glad you enjoyed the report :-) For the pelagic shots I used the Tokina 10-17mm behind an 8 inch dome. The guides had the sharks coming in so close this was the perfect lens for the job!

    Best wishes,

    Ben

  4. Was that Killibob's Knob? That is a really nice shot of the shark. The 10-17 explains the good light on it.

  5. Hi Alison, the Silvertip was at Shaggy Ridge and then we also got Silvertips the next day at Miels Reef - awesome!
