  2. Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing. I am heading to Solomons next year. Suggestions?

  3. Excellent photos, thanks for sharing! Where were you diving, especially for the cavern shot?

I lived in the Solomons (twice, actually) and have very fond memories of diving in the Western province, and the wrecks around Guadalcanal. Sadly I was not much of a photographer then, and was using a Sealife film camera that was more trouble than it was worth.

  4. I was in a live aboard in Bilikiki. I recomment it, is a good boat and the diving is wonderfull. The cavern shot is in the Marovo Logoon, I dont remenber exactly the dive site.

  5. Lovely images-well done!

  6. Ah, the Marovo - my favorite part of the Solomons (and just about everyone else's too). They must have taken you to the so-called "skull island". Fascinating place. Did you do any topside photography there?

The Bilikiki is indeed a good boat. I was never able to do a trip on it, but was friends with the crew, and we had fun evenings aboard at the dock.

  7. Great pics! Especially the way you played with the sun rays.

What wide angel lens did you use?

  8. I use Nikon D7000 camera. In this shot I used Tokina 10-17 mm fisheye.
