FS: Ikelite Canon 7D housing

  1. Aloha,

I've got an Ikelite housing for the 7D for sale. It has been an amazing workhorse for me, but it's time to upgrade to the 5d3 for underwater. Comes with all new O-rings for your peace of mind, the 5509.28 zoom ring set and I'll throw a few of the Ikelite silicones in there as well.

It is in pretty good shape with one exception. It won't fire strobes. I believe it is simply the hotshoe connection that needs to be replaced, but worst case scenario the entire bulkhead assembly can be replaced by Ikelite for I believe around $350. It is priced accordingly and is a great way to get into underwater photography with your 7D. There is some scratching inside the housing where the mount screw scrapes (normal), and some scratching on the bottom of the handle tray from it sitting on the non-skid deck here and there. It also has some scuffing on the red rubber handle parts, (normal). I've been using it frequently, so it isn't perfect but it's got plenty of years of fun, reliable service left in it.

Retail on this is $1799.99, I'd like $1,000 shipped. I've got nothing but perfect feedback on photography-on-the.net (10k+ as both a buyer and seller), as well as perfect feedback on Ebay under Lylefk and paypal as well.

Possible trades: Ikelite or Aquatech housing for 5d3 + cash from me. RRS L bracket for 5d3 plus cash from you.

I am on the fence about selling the 8" dome as well, let me know if you are interested in that too.

Thanks for looking! Feel free to contact me here or via email, lyle@krannichfeld.com.
