NX90 HOUSING BUOYANCY/BALANCE?

  1. NX90 HOUSING BUOYANCY/BALANCE?

I have been trying out my first SLR housing, an NX90 with 2 YS90 strobes and a std. port. It seems to be about a pound negative u/w, and I have trouble maneuvering it with just the right hand. Of course it has two handles, and ideally they should both be used! But I had been using a MMIIEX and had become accustomed to handling it just fine with one hand. Any tips on how to make this thing more positive, or on handling it in general?

Also, any suggestions on options to make the viewfinder "bigger", or not so much of a peephole?

  2. Housing weight will depend on the port used and strobes/arms. You will probably be happy shooting the dome.

For macro, perhaps you should consider some buoyancy strobe arms or add some buoyancy onto the arms/housing. Do a search on Wetpixel, there are a couple of postings about it.

    Cheers

    James
