Flooded flash connector

Hello,

I have flooded my strobe connector on my ikelite 7D, because I had not tightened the connector enough. And now is it cover in white lime of some sort.

Do someone has a trick to clean it. Because now the connector sometimes works and sometime not.

You may have to replace the connector, Marc. But it's worth having a go cleaning with diluted white vinegar. That sometimes works and is easy to get from a supermarket.

Vinegar and a tiny toothbrush should clean it up, or you can use some electrical contact cleaner.
