  1. Where can I get some help with posting something for sale? Specifically, how to include images and how large, what resolution, etc.

    Thanks

  2. Try clicking the "more reply options", bottom right corner to add images. "Choose File" then "Attach This File" then click "add to post"

This one is 900 x 600. Give it a try and let us know if you have any problems.

You can also just paste in a link to the image if it's already on the web, (Flickr, your website, etc.)

There is also our advanced uploader (requires Flash9) that I haven't tried yet,

    Cheers,

    Steve

  3. Thanks, Steve. I will try that. Are you Jeff's dad?

  4. Yes sir, that would be me..

  5. Awesome! Jeff was my first contact at the Shop and helped with LaVonne's OW certification.

    This is a test:

  6. Steve, my posting seems to have disappeared. Not sure why. BTW, I would like to reduce the asking price for the system I have for sale. Not sure how to do that. Can I repost or change a previous post? What happened to my original post?

  7. Never mind. I found the original post. Still need to know how to repost at a lower price point.

  8. Hi Chet,

Just add post to your existing topic advertising your reduced price....

    All the best

    Adam

  9. Thanks, Adam. Unfortunately, the original price appears first in the original posting, so unless I can change the title or edit the original, readers are unlikely to scroll down past the original price to find the new one, right? Is it okay to list the items in a new post at the lower price?

  10. Hi Chet,

By adding a new post, it will bump the whole topic back up the forum. This will mean that it will appear in people's "unread" feed.

Most people will scroll-otherwise they do not know whether the item has been sold or not...

Please avoid adding a new topic!

    All the best

    Adam

I usually start at the bottom of a thread, by hitting the "unread" button on the right side of the page, just to start with the newest information, then will go back up if its interesting. Just saying...

  12. This sounds like a good tip. Do you mean the "next unread topic"? Is this when you are browsing the listings?

  13. This sounds like a good tip. Do you mean the "next unread topic"? Is this when you are browsing the listings?

Yes, the little button below the posters with name with something like "Yesterday, 5:10 PM" - that will take you to the last unread post. I do this for every topic that I follow. Its just my preference.

  14. As a New member, can anyone help me with why I can't start a new topic. Specifically in the Classifieds section is where I would like to.

  15. Never mind, all i had to do was long out and then back in. All good now!
