DS125 beeps non-stop

Hi all,

Has anyone encountered their DS125 beeping non-stop, while the "ready light" blinks at the same time?

I have just purchased the new strobe a week and a half ago and this is my very first dive with it.... and it failed just after 15 frames.

Anything that i could do on my end prior to sending it back for servicing? I'm going to lembeh on the 19 of june, thus i'm not sure if the strobe can arrive in time?

Hi Jason,

I would contact Ikelite and see if they can send you a replacement strobe whilst you send this one in for service. I had this same problem once myself, and Ikelite fixed it right away.

Well, you aren't getting a ready light or signal - so you should find out why before sending the strobe in. First and most obvious is that you thought the battery was charged, but it isn't :-)

The battery was charged, i even used my friends one to test. the results were the same.

On the contrary, his strobes will work flawlessly with my 5050 ttl housing. Guess the strobe is busted eh??

Awaiting news from Ikelite.

Don't wait....just send it ASAP and tell them your schedule....they've never disappointed me
