Hello,
has anybody tried to use that lens on the olympus omd 5?
The problem would be the af in my eyes. And its getting very long ;-))
But would that be worth it?
Camera and adapter for ft i have here.
But not the lens.....
How slow is it? Will it get really sharp?
Regards,
Wolfgang

I don't know about the physical size, but it should be possible to use this lens.
Since the E-M5 only has contrast autofocus it will focus pretty slow.
Depending on your underwater system, manual focus may be an option.
Athena has made a port for this very lens for olympus E system ports, the OPF-TMP105-PTE.
If you have an PT-EP08 you can use the PAD-EP08 and PER-EP01 to use this lens.
If you have nauticam, you can use the Nauticam MIL to olympus adapter with knob to use this port.
With the nauticam adapter, you can also use the Athena focus gear, I do not have the gear partnr. present right now.
It is even possible to add the x1.4 teleconverter by adding (another) PER-EP01 or the x2 teleconverter by adding the PER-E02 on either system.
Athena also makes gears for the lens with x1.4 or x2 teleconverter.
The possibility is definitly there, perhaps you can ask the mirror olympus users if they use the 105 macro underwate a lot, or if that is too much.
