Sony RX100II, Recsea housing and front control ring

1 posts
  1. Hi,

I wondered if anyone has any hints/advice for me. I have recently purchased the rx100II and a Recsea housing. I have had a play with all of the settings and features and realised that to use DMF or MF in Manual mode the front control ring adjusts the focus and when the shutter is half depressed it zooms to allow best focus selection. The problem is that with a YS-D1 strobe attached I find it extremely difficult to adjust the front control ring and depress the shutter all while trying to maintain a steady hand....

Is there any way to configure the focus control to be on the rear wheel? I know that other housings (Nauticam/Acquapazza) dont have such an issue as they have a seperate small dial on the front of the housing which adjusts the control wheel and is easy to reach.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
