For Sale: Complete Canon Rebel T2i (550d) land and underwater setup. This system is ready to shoot macro, medium, and wide angle. All you need is a tray and some strobes.
I am selling this as a package. I want to clear this out and focus on a more portable solution. I realize no one will want all this together, but that’s how I’m selling it. The components of the package have been assembled by me over the past several years. Some items, like the camera, I purchased new. Others, like the dome port, I purchased used. I would describe the overall condition of the package as:
Well Used. Fully functional with cosmetic appearance consistent with 4 years of use
In other words, there are plenty of surface blemishes, but everything works well. I’ve tried to show details of the condition in my photos. Some pieces, like the 60mm and the Tokina are in even better shape and appear closer to like new. The 60mm and Tamron lenses have had a UV filter on them since day 1. The Tokina, which can’t use a filter, has had its cover on when not in the housing. The 18-55 I never paid much attention to. All equipment has been rinsed and soaked in fresh water after each dive and been stored in a smoke free environment. I can’t say with certainty how many dives everything has, since I got some pieces used. I can say I’ve done about 50 dives with the housing and ports. No floods.
I will attempt to honestly rate the condition of each item in the description below.
Camera Body:
Canon Rebel T2i (550d)
13,989 Shutter Actuations. Rubber grip a little loose in one spot. Otherwise, very good shape. 7/10.
Housing:
Sea & Sea RDX-550d (S&S 06153)
No functional issues. Buttons have good action. No oxidation. Surface blemishes. 7/10
Lenses:
Canon 18-55
Kit lens. Used infrequently. No issues. 8/10
Canon 60mm macro
Well cared for. UV filter since day 1. Very clean. 9/10
Tokina 10-17 Fisheye
Well cared for. Never used outside housing. Very clean. 8/10
In the photos, this lens has the zoom gear mounted on it already.
Tamron 18-250
Used extensively on land. UV filter since day 1. Great walk around lens. Glass is clean. 7/10.

Sea & Sea Canon 18-55 Gear (S&S 31119). Like New, 9/10.
Sea & Sea Canon 16-35 (works on Tokina 10-17) (S&S 31114). Like New, 9/10.
Ports:
RDX Standard Port (S&S 30107)
Works with both the 18-55 and the 60mm Macro. Good shape, glass is clean. No major scratches. Along the perimeter on the inside, there are a few areas that look strange, almost like water is in there. But, it’s always been like this and has never been an issue. See pictures. 6/10.
Fisheye Dome Port 240 (S&S 30116)
It’s Big and Acrylic. It’s well used. Therefore, it has scratches. I tried to show in the photos, but I would say it has more small scratches than are visible in my photos. I’ve polished it with “Novus 1, 2, 3 Kit Plastic Polish and Scratch Remover” and that helped (some). All that being said, you can’t see any evidence of the scratches in the photos taken behind this dome. I just want to be up front about the condition, unlike the person who sold it to me. 5/10.
RDX Port Base L (S&S 30109). Good Shape. Needed to use the Dome Port with this housing and the Tokina lens. 8/10.
Covers:
RDX Standard Port (S&S 46101). Well used, still holds shape and does its job. 6/10.
Fisheye Dome Port 240 (S&S 51211) Well used, still holds shape and does its job. 6/10.
