  1. SB105 - will not fire underwater !

    Please Help

I have a Nikon 5400 in an Ikelite Housing. I connected my Nikonos SB105 with a new sync cord to the housing. When i test it on land, it works fine in Slave Mode, but when i take it underwater it will not fire with the same settings. When i remove it from the water it works fine again.

    Any Ideas?

  2. What do you mean it works fine in slave mode? Why would you have it in slave mode if you are using a sync cord? Did you set the strobe for slave mode when you tried to use it w/ the sync cord underwater?

Please clarify, and perhaps we can help.

    Cheers

Am new at this digital stuff. The only way i could get it to fire at all was in slave mode. and this would only work above water. When underwater i tried it in everymode i could think of and it would not fire. The sync cord was connected at all times.

    Thanks

  4. Thanks

Have sorted it out by changing some settings.
