Hi Everyone,
I'm interested in purchasing a 67mm Macro lens. Please let me know what you have! I'm leaning towards buying a new one although I thought I'd post here first to see if there's anything available!
Thanks!
Luis

I guess you mean a wet lens / diopter to attach to the lens port. I really recommend testing with your specific setup before buying. I had the Olympus "macro" wet lens with my previous setup and it did very little that was useful. I recently tested the SubSee +5 and +10 with my Olympus 12-50 lens in macro mode and neither did what I wanted, with a maximum +25% increase in magnification. Results are lens/port specific so it would help to specify your setup and do some research first on what works with that combination.
Thanks for the advice... I didn't realize I could potentially get sub optimal results with certain macro wet lenses.... I'll do more research and see what specific lens I want
sometimes it is the lens, sometimes it is your camera & port.
the inexpensive single lens diopters are rated in air. once they go under water they loose power.
expensive wet diopters have a built in air gap and do not lose power (as much?) under water. others can explain the physics better.
"short" camera lens will not benefit as much as "long" camera lens. as indicated above a 12-50 is a waste of time. even a 70mm does not benefit much. my dx1g with a 70mm lens was disappointing. my g16 with a 140mm lens works great with the subsee +10. just real hard to focus.
the reefnet website has a magnification calculator at the bottom of the subsee page.
