Manually adjust aperture on lens

  1. Manually adjust aperture on lens

Can anyone please tell me if you can on the Ikelite S2 housing or the D100 housing manually adjust aperture on a 105 macro lenslike you could on the "old" SLR housings.

    Thanks.

  2. No - and you wouldn't want to. If the lens is not locked at F22 (or whatever it locks at) the camera will just say FEE

Cameras that control the aperture through the command dial must have the lens aperture ring locked in order to function. You then adjust the aperture using the command dial (either front or rear).

    Cheers
