Best NiMh Battries and Charger for Fuji S2??

Still, from practical experience, what do people see as the best batteries and charger (I would like one that did atleast 8 battries)

I use Powerex 2300 MaH batteries and a MAHA 4-cell charger.

My suggestion would be Ansmann's Powerline6 Charger. 3 of them take up less space than Ansmann's Energy 16. These chargers are a true dual voltage, and a bottom end of 47hz (useful when a 50hz supply takes a dip).

They are now the only chargers I'll trust in resorts or on boats with poor power regulation.

Since you are looking for an 8 cell charger, buy 2, and you've got 12 in a relatively compact space with redundency.

I don't care how good the charger is, you'll fry one some day.
