Finally getting back into the e-rhythm of things after an amazing trip out with the Abernethy's. Just a little tease until I can put something together on my site.
Having a face-to-face encounter with this ~twelve foot beauty was nothing like I expected. She was very cautious and a true lady -- behaviorwise.
Way to go Laz! You must have been pretty close to get that shot. What - you didn't get a chance to remove that fish-hook? :-)
Cheers
James
Yup. I shot that with the Inon dome. She couldn't have been more than 3 ft away. Sometimes I think this dome lens is too wide, though. Next time I'll try for a split shot!
BTW - Capt. Mike did actually try to remove the long-line hook but was unsuccessful. Maybe next time we'll try to put her in tonic immobility. That'll make taking the hook out a little less stressful -- for the hook-remover person.
 excellent lighting and exposure Laz.....well done

Well done Laz!
No White shark pic?
Well done Laz!
No White shark pic?
Yeah... Of course!
Here I am swimming next to a baby Great White...
Great shot of the tigress. I really like the setting for your portrait - out on the seagrass with no divers in the frame. Excellent.
Am I jealous? yes I am!
Outstanding!! That's by far the best shark photo my old Inon lens/dome has taken (unless you have others of course). Good work.
