These are some of my photographs of my trip to Mabul and Sipadan last year. All made with a Canon G11.
I’ve been suffering from backscatter.
Hope you like them.
I don’t post too much but I follow the forums.
Cheers.

Roma - Nice photos. I think I'd pick the last as my favorite.

Yep, me too - that's a pretty cool image. The shark with the jacks is neat too.
Looks like a great photo trip.
Like your pics. Thanks,
Did you find it restrictive to get to Spiadan with their permit system?
Were you able to dive Spiadan daily?
Where did you stay?

I went with junkie divers (diving and sleeping), went twice to Sipadan. Because of the many people junkie divers make a pack that you can only dive one day Sipadan in a 3 days diving.
The resort is fantastic and the food is better, for a vegan like me and my wife we found the best food we could ever imagine, and I’m not kidding.
You can go diving every day to Sipadan with another diving center over there, but I didn’t like at all in the research time before the trip. Although if I never come back I will probably make some dives with the other diving center. They say you can go every day to Spidan, paying of course the extra cost.
Cheers.
It has been a few years since I dove Sipadan and have heard that it has gotten more restrictive in obtaining a permit to dive there.
I stayed at Sipadan Water Village and dove Sipadan daily. It was great diving. SWV was great, accommodations in you own private bungalow. The food was pretty good too. The only drawback was getting there from the States, took two and half days of travel.
