Anyone know what Grouper this is?

Hi all, I'm new to this group and am hoping maybe someone will know what some of my unID'd fish might be. This was taken in Yap.

There are a number of groupers with somewhat similar features. In the Red Sea, with which I am more familiar, it would be most similar to the greasy grouper (Epinephelus tauvina), but it isn't quite right. Yap may have a closely related species or E. tauvina may look a bit different in that corner of the Pacific. Hopefully someone familiar with that area can give a more definitive answer on what it is.

There are several Epinephelus species with spots, but none of them are quite right. The closest I have seen is E. melanostigma, but only one of the many pictures I've seen of it look even close to this.
