Subal Canon Housings

I was in London today and saw the new Subal housings for the Canon 1DS, 300D and G5 (all on sale and available at Ocean Optics)

Both the G5 and 300D housings are very compact. Very impressive and with lots of weight saving machining of the metal. The 1DS is (obviously) much bigger, but is very easy to handle. And to be honest lovely.

The * buttom that Canon users seem to talk about lots is very well placed under your thumb on the back the housing.

One thing I noticed about the G5 housing is there is no strobe arm mount on the housing - and it will need a baseplate if you want to use a strobe.
