Ha ha, you got yourself a sticky situation there!
Yep, impossible to disentangle yourself from them, but they generally lose interest after five minutes or so and just drop off.
I once watch a youtube video about how to get rid of aggressive octo, the diver used his octo (the regulator) and purge air creating large cloud of bubble and noise when the octo approach him. The bubble sure confuse the approaching octo, and he burned a lot of air, but if you might have a camera stealing octopus, you have to do what it takes right? ![]()
Guess so. There's not much an occy could do with a big rig but I wouldn't like to have to wrestle a compact off one of them!
