Sony RX100 IV/A7 Picture Profile

I am playing with the picture profile to get something that is good straight from camera with my RX100 mark IV

The profile PP3 looks ideal it has the following parameter

Gamma ITU709

Color Mode Pro (not sure what that is)

I have set knee to auto 95% mid drop

The only doubt I have is the detail setting that seems to control sharpenss. I have left it to default but it has many options that I don't quite understand.

Anybody has got a clue??

I found out what detail does it is a fine tuning sharpness control and is actually very powerful

The picture profiles are incredible am not talking about S-log but the rest of the options

You can have a video or cinema look and full control of color depth at RGBCYM level, fine control of sharpness and saturation, gamma curves etc etc
