YS 120 Sea and Sea 4 pin Strobe and digital

I'm sure this question has been asked, and I did a search on the forums........but please understand, I'm dealing with a sucky dial-up service in Australia right now........

Here's the question, I have two strobes, one YS 120 and a YS 30 slave strobe Sea and Sea. I know the slave strobe will work as a second strobe, but are there any digital cameras/ housings that will work with my YS 120 Sea and Sea, 4 pin strobe?

I'm getting ready to buy a digital camera and if one would work with my YS 120, it may affect my purchase decision.

Hi Shep,

Most housings will work with your strobes. You'll need to use a sync cord to trip the 120 if you want to use the 30 as a slave. You will need a housing/cord combination that only has the fire and ground pins connected (aka, called a "manual cord."

If you use the digital camera's flash to trip the strobes, they will fire on the camera's preflash. A few cameras, such as the Olympus 5050, 5060 you can turn this preflash off, which is nice.
