Looking for inspiration: favorite non-UW sites / blogs?

  1. I'd be interested to hear from folks about their favorite web sites and blogs for photography. I really like the coverage and the community here on Wetpixel and would like to find something similar for above water photography, particularly landscapes and wildlife.

FWIW, I read fstoppers and Petapixel occasionally but find the former too much geared toward pros and studio work, and the later is too often superficial, and neither has a discussion forum. DP Review is good sometimes but the discussions are more about gear than photos. Nat Geo is fantastic for inspiration but light on discussion. Others I have come across don't have enough content to be compelling.

    All ideas welcome! TIA

  2. While not a forum persay reddit has some nice photography subreddits FWIW.

  3. Luminous landscape is oriented towards landscape photography. https://luminous-landscape.com/

It has recently become a paid subscription site ($12/ year) for the articles while the associated forums remains free.

There are many on line forums where one can post images -

Photography on the net has topical photo sharing (and discussion) forums as well as equipment centric ones.

For example, the number of bird photo sharing postings is approaching one million. That should be plenty of inspiration!
