How to best position dual Ikelite cords?

  1. How to best position dual Ikelite cords?

I recently upgraded to a second Ikelite DS-125 strobe and want to know how to best position the dual cords.

Thanks in advance for the help.

  2. Personally, I like cords much better than optical sensors. So here's what I'd recommend.

    Housing to Dual Ike cord

Each end of the dual Ike cord to 1 Ike Manual EV controller

Cord from each EV controller to each strobe.

Ike now makes some extended 1" ball posts that snap onto the housing handles. These are specially designed for use when mounting their EV controllers.

  3. My question is related to how one keeps the cords out of the way, not how they're hooked up.

    Thanks,

  4. I just wrap them around the strobe arms. You can also use a special kind of removable cable tie - such as the ones that come with TLC arms.

    Cheers

  5. We will have a dual cord with straight cords just long enough to go from the bulkhead to the manual controllers to eliminate the present mess............
