Inon S220, Ikelite arms ?

  1. Inon S220, Ikelite arms ?

Anyone using or know if its possible to fit an Inon 220 on the Ikelite 1 inch ball arms that I presently have?

How can I do it? or if I was to get a 220, what extra parts would I need to do it?

Or should I just look at getting Inon arms (to fit an Ike CP5000 housing).

    Cheers,

  2. Hey Aengus, if they're 1" ball clamps then I can't see why not. You will need the strobe adaptor: Inon's Z Adapter or ULCS Inon Strobe Adapter.

Didn't you have dual DS-125s? What happened to them?

  3. Thanks for that, I've found the adapter on the Inon site with that description, and as it does Ultralight 1 inches, it should do the Ikelite arms nicely.

Unfortunately I think Ikelite strobes and myself were not to be (I know plenty of happy Ikelite users), I've had one of the 125's back a few times, a sensor failed, hotshoe failed and a sync cable busted (my fault).

Despite "Above and beyond" service by Ike to those issues, since I dive twice a week with my camera, its begining to bug me, and I'm therefore ready to try an Inon.

Edit; Stuff the Inon's, Ikelite got the strobes repaired and returned so fast I haven't had time to follow up the Inon's, back to 2 strobes again, Yipppeeeee!
