Dive Tubbahata - advice on LOB

6 posts
  1. Hi all,

I'd like to plan a trip to Tubbahata next year.

Anyone dived there and can recommend liveaboard (or provide advice on boats to avoid and why).

    thank you so much!

  2. I took a trip on the Eco Explorer that was fantatstic. The boat was super comfortable and very well run. It's part of the Expedition fleet run out of Puerto Princessa during the season. I just had a quick look at their schedule and although they still list that vessel, it appears they are only using the Stella Maris currently, which unfortunately I can't tell you much about. Maybe others have been aboard.

  3. thank you for your feedback. :) I'll keep asking around. Was the diving up to your expectation over there? Seems it's amazing diving there.

  4. Beyond expectations. That is, only if you like big walls. big schools of pelagics, sharks, rays, barracuda, turtles, that sort of thing . . .

  5. I did Tubbahata on the Palausport, it is comfortable big boat. Food was good, dive service was very good.

The times of the year that Tubbahata is open for diving is April to June.

I would do it again, I had a great trip.

    Elmer

  6. thank you. I'll check that one up as well!!
