Best arm options for a versatile system

1 posts
  1. G'day everyone,

I'm planning on buying a new GX80 nauticam housing including the flexitray + brackets but I'm a bit stuck on choosing the right arm system.

    - I'll be using the camera for stills as well as video. I often see video lights mounted on LocLine arms while strobes are used with ball arms. I'm interested in stills as well as video,

what would be more usefull as an arm system?

    - How much floatation would I need to get it neutral? For now I'll probably stick with the 14-42 mega ois and the H100 LD without dome + UCL165 LD macro (I have to convert M67 to LD)

I'll use either two video lights or two strobes (or one if i'm lazy). I have a Mega float arm M lying around, but I'm afraid two of these would be too much?

    - What video lights are most popular right now. I have one sola photo 1200 which I like but are the lumens enough?

    Any help would be appreciated.
