FIX Neo Mini 500FS Light

Hi,

It's been a long long time since I went on a photography trip. The Li Ion batteries of my Fisheye HG20DX lights are shot and none available to replace. I will have to purchase new focus lights for my two rigs.

Is anyone happy using a FIX Neo Mini 500FS? If not, what does a guy need now days for a focus light?

I was in your shoes a couple of years ago. Like Bill, I went for a Sola. I got the Photo 800 which includes a red light setting.

I've found the light reliable with a battery life that's usually good for a couple of dives. It's light weight, small but powerful and recharges quickly. The variable setting and red light works well. I'd happily buy the same again.

When mine arrived the charger only worked for about an hour - then failed. Something of a pain as you can imagine. I was able to get a replacement though.
