computer skills

i finally did it. i got a d 70. my main issue, is computer skills ie. the process of getting the images into the computer, and working, storing, sorting, etc. what are the best means to learn these?

I would recommend you go to a local photo club meeting. Bring your laptop and find someone nice in the club to sit down with you and go through this step by step.

You can learn this from a book or from the web, but face to face is MUCH better, IMO.

As James mentioned find yourself a mentor in your area. Get yourself into a basic computer class then refine it by getting into a basic photo editing class. Don't do what I did and just do trial and error, it will take you much longer. Read a computer operating system book like from ebay. Depends on your knowledge base. It's obvious you have some knowlege base or you wouldn't have posted on this forum and found it.
