Hello,
I have a dual sync cable (#4104.62) which I want to use as single sync cable. Is this possible if I put the end cap deliverer with the cable on it(the small black one).
Or is that one not water thigh enough.

Does the cap have an o-ring, Marc?
The cap no has no o-ring, but plug itself yes.
Hey Marc
I'm not familiar with that specific cable, I must admit. But provided the o-ring forms a seal between the inside of the cap and the outside of the plug, ( i.e., the o-ring should prevent water getting inside the plug) it should be ok. Of course you need to check the o-ring is clean, in good condition, slightly greased and correctly positioned.
Hope that makes sense!!
Looks like an Ikelite plug.
And they say:
"DON'T DIVE WITH EN CAPS OR CABEL WILL FLOOD"
Also only one of the end will work as there is an primary and secondary side to it.

I used DS-125s and DS-51s up until a few years ago. I recall that Ikelite wrote somewhere on their web site that the caps were not designed to be waterproof. They were only intended as dust caps to protect the ends of the cables. I'd contact Ikelite before I submerged the cable connection with only the cap in place.
Looks like dragon above beat me to the punch.
Sounds like very good advice from the guys!
Clear, no go.
Thanks
