color enhancing filters

this ? is for james. there was a discussion in the past on using ambient light and color enhancing filters. i'm going to tonga next month to do the whale trip. any sugestions on technique, tips. most of the encounters are by snorkeling, therefore shallow. thanx

Yep, Craig is the expert. If you're going to be snorkelling with whales, the lower power FL filter would be a good choice.

sorry ive been away from the computer. would you suggest an FL-D , cc 30 equivalent?

For shallow water go with the lower cc equivalent - whichever filter that is.
