  1. Where to go in Western Australia ?

I live in Thailand, wanna go on holiday early December and I think Philippines, Sulawesi, Borneo the weather is no good ( true ?) at that time. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.......

though to Western Australia, but not sure if anyone knows of any spot there which is good, and weather is good. ( i need water to be about 25 Deg C + ).

    thanks 4 you comments

  2. guess there is nothing in WA to see......

  3. Try Exmouth or Coral Bay, i was diving up there the December before last it was about 24c.

Exmouth Divers do a great day trip out to the Murion Islands, we had some fantastic Manta action.

    Good Luck

  4. Thanks...... will give it a go........

  5. how about Madagascar?, fly to South Africa and from there to Antananarive. plenty of south African companys that do live aboards there and the water is 28 degrees with mantas, whale sharks and untouched coral gardens.

  6. Thanks for that. SA a little far from here, and more difficult to get through. I am taking my nephew and my family, so i need a shore so they can still enjoy them selves.

  7. Been away for a while so this post slipped past.

Quite a few good spots in WA that will meet your temp criteria. Exmouth and Coral bay as has been raised. The navy pier in Exmouth is sometimes touted as the best pier dive in the world. Murions and Ningaloo reef generally are pretty nice.

If you've got a few dollers to spend Rowley Shoals further to the North east are pretty amazing. All trips are liveaboards out of Broome. I can't remeber the operators but I'm sure google will find them.

Houtman Abroholos islands of Geraldton are very cool along with 17th century wreck sites.

alot of the coast south is nice. Not alot north of Perth is dived so you've got a lot of coast to explore.

You're biggest problem is wind. December is really windy right along the coast. I lived in Shark Bay, 350km's south of exmouth and we had 19 consecutive days where the wind didn't drop below 30kts for a second about that time of year. That was a bad month but just to give you a heads up. On the other hand May June is majic. You get days where the water is so glassy calm you can't tell where the sky ends and the sea starts.

  8. Thanks........ I think i will be looking at this again around may next year..... cheers and thanks for the information............
