  1. nikon F80 in my FS2 Subal fits perfectly !!

So i'm now finished and very proud say that i've adapted an nikon F80 in my Fuji S2 Subal housing, with some HAMA parts and a bit of "Pattex" pasta

ALL the functions of the F80 body are working except the AF "joystick" on the back

    advantages :

possibilities of having a cheap spare body without buying a second S2

allows me to continue UW photogr. competitions where DSLR are still not admitted

I'll put here some pictures, let me say if you're interested

    cheers

  5. ok let's go fo some pictures, (paint is still sticky  )

do to this yo'll need :

hama rings accasories for topside speedlights

    pattex "pasta"

transparent film (so the Subal socket stays clean)

    blackpaint

    2 or 3 hours

    and a lot of patience

i'll try to answer to your questions be remember that my english is really poor

  6. fist of all adapt the hama rings so the command of the top of the body camera can be used with the housing

  7. don't forget the plastic film when using the pattex

  8. detail of the system, working but has to look better now

  9. now we can't see hama rings anymore also much more stability and a very small correction on the right side , about 2mm in height

  10. a bit of semi-glossy model car black paint

  11. and the final result, will be tested tomorrow on night dive

  12. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing those images, Jerome.
