Nikon UW-Nikkor 15mm F2.8N lens for Nikonos cameras with two Nikonos viewfinders
This is a well-cared for and maintained 15mm lens for Nikonos cameras . It has never been flooded and is in EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION. The are no scratches or corrosion on the lens. The lens body has some cosmetic scratches. Both the front and rear lens caps are included.
Extras:
I am also including BOTH Nikonos Optical Underwater Viewfinders and the User's Manuals for the lens and both viewfinders. I am also including the original packaging for the newest viewfinder (DF-11).
• The larger Optical Underwater Viewfinder was designed for the older Nikonos cameras, but can also be used for the Nikonos IV & V cameras.
• The smaller Optical Underwater Viewfinder (DF-11) was designed for the Nikonos IV & V cameras because the viewfinder yoke of the older viewfinder covers the viewfinder so the LED display can not be seen. This viewfinder can also be used for the older Nikonos cameras.
• This lens replaced the original UW-Nikkor 15mm lens because the barrel of the original lens extended too far into the camera body for the Nikonos IV & V cameras to use the automatic exposure sensor. This lens can also be used with the older Nikonos cameras, too.
This is THE LENS for shooting underwater images! You can get REALLY close which gives you excellent resolution, and less loss of color if shooting with a strobe. PLUS, most everything is in focus. This is a great BIG ANIMAL lens!
I hate to part with this lens because it is the best of all the Nikonos lenses! I hope it goes to a good home where it will continue to take amazing images for the user.
It is listed this week on Ebay ending on Sunday evening, May 21.
