Hi all,
I have just posted an article on the Wetpixel front page containing some of my opinions about what constitutes great imagery.

Amazing images need no explanation. You may think that the audience may be impressed that you took the image whilst free diving in Arctic water while being chased by a large school of titan triggerfish (!), but most are actually simply there to look at your imagery
Explaining what you had to do before or after the image doesn't make that image more awesome specially if you are not there to explain it.
