Where can I download a Nikon D70 User Manual in PDF format?

The USA site doesn't show it as available. Anyone know if it exists in PDF format and where I can go to download a copy?

Peter, this is a great book on CD...cost me $40 at Staples to get it printed...or you can just read the PDF's

I pride myself on my ability to find stuff on the Internet. But try as I might, I did not find the links you did.

FYI, I own Thom Hogan's Complete Guide to the Nikon D70 and I recommend it to all D70 owners. The reason I wanted the Nikon manual is that I like to cut and paste from PDFs for my own notes, but Thom's ebook is encrypted.

BTW: I heard from a Nikon rep that they don't like publishing PDFs of their manuals to combat gray market retailers. So that if you buy the Thia version of the camera you are stuck with manuals in Thai.

So whenever I see the manual for a product that I like or have on the Nikon website I try to hold onto it because I don't know how long it'll be there. Nikon published this manual ahead of the D70 release to tantalize us all then promptly pulled it once the camera hit the streets. This is why.
