Sometimes I have troube firing the strobe, mainly becasuse the reflector I've built is not very dependable. I was wondering if using a wire (I've seen for the same strobe with the Olimpus at Oceabrite) would work definetely.

First off, what strobe are you talking about? The Ikelite or the Sea and Sea? To my knowledge, there is no "DS-150" Strobe.
Maybe then we can help.

James I think he talking about the Epoque DS150.
You need to hook up a fiber in front of the strobe to sync your strobe to your onboard flash.

Does that cord work with any external flash?
What is the fiber manufacturer, distributor?

Yes, this fiber optic should work with your Epoque ES150DS strobe. The fiber optic cable kit is from Sea and Sea and the fiber mount for the Epoque strobe is aftermarket part.
