  1. Inon WAL vs Sea & Sea options

    hi folks

now that i have a c5050 on the way im considering wide angle options for it. i see alot of people use the Inon WAL and often with the dome port option. how does that compare to Sea & Sea's offerings?

i saw a post elsewhere claiming that the S&S lens doesnt suffer any distortion. dont all WAL have barrel or pincushing distortion of some kind?

  2. hello,

I've used the Inon WAL on the 5050 and you get abou 100 degress of coverage. With the dome you get another 30 degrees or so.. As long as you are not zooming with the lenses you'll get great photos. I highly recommend these two options! Im sure you have seen plenty of photos with the inon lens. check out www.inonamerica.com. I have a few pictures taken with the wal lens on that site. Not sure where to see the Sea and Sea images..

Thanks. Rand, what strobes are you using with the d70? The inons or sea and sea?

  6. Mostly the Inon's but I kept a Sea & Sea because on occasion, I like to use a snoot and the one I have fits the Sea & Sea.
