Replacement vacuum pump

Hello all,

I have a Nauticam NA-7Dii housing with the vacuum system, and managed to loose my vacuum pump. I'm wondering if anyone who has been in my shoes before, has replaced theirs with one of the many wine pumps that are on Amazon. Does the hole manage to fit enough to work?

Haven't tried it, but I was told when I bought mine at Backscatter that theirs was specifically designed so if you didn't have your pump, the wine pump on your live aboard would work. They said the Nauticam one pretty much copied theirs and that you should be able to use most any wine pump.

In a pinch (not all wine pumps will work, some are too big but you can often use the "cork" to fit over the bulkhead fitting) you can just use your mouth to suck the air out of the housing. Works fine.
