Unknown invert from Pacific side of Costa Rica

  1. Found this guy off of Playa Ocotal in Costa Rica. Was about 40 feet in the sandy area of a shoot. Any ideas?

  2. Hard to say for sure, but I'm pretty sure it's a Sea Pen (order Pennatulacea)

     

    Perhaps the Orange Sea Pen, though Costa Rica is a little far south for that species.
