  1. Grand Cayman August 2004

Hey Everyone, I am in Grand Cayman at the moment. I'm on a long stay here so I am not diving all the intensively. Here are a few of my early shots. I will post more over the coming days.

The first is Giles (digitallywet) Shaxted swimming through Silversides in the Wreck of the Oro Verde. D100 + 10.5mm FF FE.

The second is my brother Oscar chilling out on Seven Mile Beach and enjoying the fine weather. D100 + 16mm FE.

Please excuse low res and high compression of the images, but I am on my laptop's internal modem.

    Alex

  2. The observant of you will have noticed that I wasn't able to post the one of Giles above. So here it is.

By the way I am down here for most of the month so if anyone from Wetpixel is passing through please get in touch and maybe we can go out diving together.

    Alex

  3. And just to keep it balanced here are a couple of macros. A goby taken on Sunday on a nice bed of worms. And a mating pair of shy hamlets taken this evening.

  4. Hey Alex-- Great people, great fish, but oh those worms!!! Ooh la la! Is that really their true color or were they fluorescing under your strobe?

  5. Very good shots, I like especially the goby's bed, spectacular!

You have to take the first shot but only this time with a nice model in bikini and you'll have a great magazine's cover frame :D

  6. Great pics Alex!

    All of them!

Your brother looks nice! Did you use a half filter for that pic?
