Using a inon d 180 with the Ike housing for Oly 5050????

Hello everyone,

I currently own a Oly 5050 in the Pt 15 Housing and a Inon d 180, but I want to upgrade. I want to buy the Ike housing and the future a Inon Z220. So my question is, is there a way that i can use the d 180 with the Ike housing ????

I dont have the money to buy the Ike housing & the z220 at once (i am just a poor student from Holland)

Sure, you can use the D180 with the fiber optic kit mounted to the Ike housing, or you can get a Z220 and use that with either the fiber kit, or you can connect it directly to the Ikelite housing with Ike's new sync cord.

Technically it'll work. I think logistically it may be a bit of a challenge mounting the fibre optical cable on the Ike housing as it has no diffuser panel like the PT-015 does. YMMV.
