  1. flash bracketing

i'd like to use my d70 with my old sea and sea ys 120s.They have only full and half power control. I'd be interested in how people bracket exposures, other then physically moving the flash, or camera. Do you just change f stops, do you flash bracket, adjust EVs, other?Do you do things differently for macro vs wide angle where your balancing subject and water exposures?

  2. Mrbubbles,

For most macro where ambiant light is not a factor I normally shoot manual and brackt my exposure by changing f-stops. For really close subjects, if you find that at F22 you are still over exposing, then drop your stobe power to 1/2.

For WA I usually meter the mid open water light level and bracket stobe power. This is where having multipe power settings come in handy.
