Diving the Farallons

Has anyone dove the Farallon's with "Great White Adventures" or any other commercial outfit? I am looking at a trip later this Fall and wanted to see if anyone had any feedback on them. Thanks, Keith

If you are thinking of going to the Farallon Islands, you should take into consideration the fact that chumming is prohibited. You may want to think about going to Guadalupe.

Decoying is also now prohibited in the Farallons. Decoying is cutting out a shape of a seal and pulling it with a rope. People I have talked with report highly variable results. The flip side is that if you do see a shark they have the real monsters in the Farallons.

Guadalupe is on my list but I am intrigued to see Whites without the influence of chum in the water. Probably less chance on seeing one and maybe not as exciting, but still something I would like to do. Keith
