Inon Z220 or D180 should be the best for my nexus D70
Asking Inon user I looking for Inon because their compact design ( sorry ike I have use your substrobe for more than 10 years from 300 to ai to 200 to 5o and got a collection of your broken dual TTL sync cord more than 10!! ) my question is between Z220 ( TTL but not work with digital)
or D180 ( Auto) is my choice???
(I can connect d180 by optical D converter to my nexus d70 )
another question is it Auto Ok for Digital?? I have use auto flash once 16 years ago its nikon sb101 (ah !!! Digital age go back for auto!!!! after TTL won't work anymore it's absurd !!!!!!)
For no other reason I bought the Z220's because you have the option of using an OC or 5 pin Nikonos cord.
Good choice now as it appears neither the OC D or TTL wll work with the S&S DX-D70.
Why not get Jacky to let you try both first?

I never found auto very useful on my d180's ...just shoot manual and adjust power. And I though I was the only person out there with broken dual sync cords from Ike.. Mine break at bulkhead..yours? Oh, is that optical D converter available here in US from nexus?

I've used both Z-220 and D-180 and much prefer the Z-220. I didn't like the Auto mode of the D-180 much. The Z220 has twice max output and more manual adjustments.
thank you I will look forward to Z220
for hamburger thank you for your idea I will ask jacky this trip to use his strobe first
for starbuck I think D converter should avialble in usa soon I've seen both D converter and TTL converter from inon it look cool and can save our money from replace sync cord every year
my ike cords always broken on the T connection and head some of them won't work on TTL mode and many of them firing sometimes but almost not firing some of them firing from surface to 20 feet but not firing under 30 feet
