Hey Gang,
Recently purchased the E-M10 III and my buddy recommended the 12x50 lens which has a macro setting. Above water I'm pretty impressed.
Any one diving this setup?

I don't have it myself, but as far as I know, the only way to engage the macro function on that lens underwater is through an expensive Nauticam port with a very expensive Nauticam gear.
You get 0.36x with the macro switch enabled. If you don't enable the switch the magnification is less. A much better lens is the 12-40mm f2.8 it gets as good a magnification as the 12-50 without the switch enabled and because you have it in a dome, the 12mm end is wider. of course it'll cost you more for both lens and port, but it's a great lens. It's significantly sharper so you are able to crop in on small stuff more so than you can with the 12-50. Alo I believe Barmaglot is correct only way to enable macro mode inside a housing is the expensive port/zoom gear offered by Nauticam
One advantage of the 12-50 is you can assign zooming to a camera button if you place the lens in e-zoom, so you don't need a zoom gear.
